Amistad is an intentionally multiracial, multicultural and Open and Affirming church that believes in and serves God through Christ. As a community we affirm and honor the African origins of humanity. We also live by the prophecy set forth in Micah 6:8 to “do justice and love mercy and walk humbly with God.” We celebrate the “Good News” that came through the birth, ministry, death and resurrection of Christ. And as the pastor I would like to extend a sincere welcome and invitation you. I want to let you know we are here to walk with you on your spiritual journey. You are welcome in this community regardless of where you are on your religious path. And we are here to welcome, affirm and celebrate all that God has made you to be inclusive of your race, gender, orientation, ability, and economic status.
